What it is

Rice Milk (Oryza Sativa extract) is a nutrient-rich botanical extract used in Asian skincare traditions for centuries. It contains a natural complex of B vitamins (B1, B3, B6), vitamin E, ferulic acid, allantoin, minerals, amino acids, and natural starches — all working together to brighten, soften, and condition the skin without irritation.

How it works

Rice milk delivers its benefits through multiple pathways simultaneously. Ferulic acid — a potent antioxidant — neutralizes UV-generated free radicals and inhibits melanin overproduction for gradual brightening. Natural starches form a light protective film that smooths the skin surface. Amino acids and B vitamins support cellular metabolism and healthy cell turnover. The result is a multi-functional ingredient that conditions, protects, and brightens without any single mechanism dominating — gentle enough for daily use on even the most sensitive skin.

Rice Milk in Our Formulations

Rice milk skincare draws on over a thousand years of proven tradition — and modern science confirms what Asian beauty has always known. As an oryza sativa extract, rice extract for skin delivers what rice water benefits have promised for centuries: gentle, cumulative brightening without irritation. The ferulic acid in this brightening rice extract works alongside Vitamin C as a synergistic antioxidant pair. As a rice milk moisturizer, its natural starches create a silky-smooth skin feel while B vitamins fuel healthy cell metabolism. This gentle brightening ingredient is the foundation layer that makes stronger actives more tolerable — similar to how rice ferment skincare traditions always paired powerful treatments with gentle nourishment. Combined with Aloe Vera for hydration, Bisabolol for calming, and Niacinamide for additional brightening. Supported by Hyaluronic Acid for deep moisture — all on a Ceramide 3 foundation. Why we chose it

Most serums focus on one mechanism — brightening, or hydrating, or conditioning. Rice milk does all three simultaneously, without irritation and without competing with other actives. It’s the ideal support ingredient: it makes every other active in the formula work in a healthier, better-nourished skin environment. Paired with Ceramide 3, it creates a nourished, protected base that amplifies everything built on top of it.
