St.GABRIEL's Pharmaceuticals is a skincare brand built around one idea: your skin barrier comes first. Instead of chasing trends, every formula we release starts with Ceramide 3 at a functional concentration, then layers targeted actives on top — never the other way around.

St.GABRIEL's is founded and run by Marian Hanzel, who also leads CeramideLabs™, our independent ceramide science education platform. The brand grew out of a simple frustration: most skincare marketing talks about ingredients, but very few brands disclose real concentrations or explain why the skin barrier matters more than any single active.

We don't formulate around a single trending ingredient. Every St.GABRIEL's serum is built on Ceramide 3 first, because a compromised skin barrier makes every other active — Vitamin C, Retinol, Niacinamide — less effective. We disclose the ingredients we use and explain the reasoning, rather than relying on vague marketing claims.

Your skin barrier is made up of roughly 50% ceramides. Without a functioning barrier, active ingredients penetrate less effectively and moisture escapes faster. Ceramide 3 is the most researched skin-identical ceramide for restoring that structure — which is why it's the foundation of every product we build, not an afterthought.

The Serum C+E is our first product — a barrier-first Vitamin C and Vitamin E serum built on Ceramide 3. It's the foundation of a growing product line; each future formula follows the same principle: functional concentrations, disclosed ingredients, barrier support first.

CeramideLabs™ is a separate, independent ceramide science education platform — it exists to explain the science of skin barrier repair without promoting any single brand. St.GABRIEL's applies that same science in its formulas, but CeramideLabs™ content stays brand-neutral by design.

Yes — this is central to how we work. A serum that lists an ingredient without disclosing its concentration can't back up its claims. We publish the active concentrations in our formulas and explain why each one is included at that level.
