Shields, softens, and locks in moisture

Shields

Neutralizes free radicals before they damage cell membranes.

Smooths and conditions the skin surface for a supple, healthy feel.

Seals

Reinforces the skin barrier to prevent transepidermal water loss.

What it is

Vitamin E (Tocopherol) is a fat-soluble antioxidant naturally found in plant oils, nuts, and seeds. It integrates into the lipid layers of the skin, where it intercepts free radicals generated by UV exposure and pollution before they can damage cell membranes.

How it works

Tocopherol embeds itself in the lipid bilayer of cell membranes — the same structure Ceramide 3 reinforces. From there, it donates electrons to unstable free radicals, neutralizing them before they trigger oxidative chain reactions. It also works synergistically with Vitamin C: after Vitamin C neutralizes a radical, Vitamin E regenerates it back to its active form, extending antioxidant protection.

Vitamin E in Our Formulations

Your skin’s lipid barrier needs its own antioxidant — and vitamin E serum delivers exactly that. As a tocopherol skincare active, vitamin E for skin embeds directly into cell membranes, creating an antioxidant barrier that intercepts free radical protection at the source. Unlike surface antioxidants, this lipid antioxidant works inside the membrane structure — the same layer Ceramide 3 reinforces. That’s what makes it a true vitamin E moisturizer: it protects and conditions simultaneously. The synergy between vitamin C and E is biochemistry, not marketing — C regenerates spent E, and E shields C from degradation. Combined with Vitamin C for synergistic antioxidant cycling, Hyaluronic Acid for deep hydration, and Aloe Vera for a soothing base. Supported by Niacinamide for internal ceramide production and Squalane for lipid flexibility — all on a Ceramide 3 foundation. Explore the full formulation in The Serum C+E on Amazon.

Why we chose it

Vitamin C and Vitamin E are each effective alone — together they multiply each other’s protection. C+E is not a marketing pairing. It’s biochemistry: Vitamin C regenerates oxidized Vitamin E, and Vitamin E protects C from degradation. Built on a Ceramide 3 base, this combination defends the barrier while actively repairing it.
